Our Services
Free Pregnancy Tests
We offer free pregnancy tests for every client, regardless of her stance with abortion. We provide free pregnancy tests that are over 97% accurate.
Limited Ultrasound
Clients who receive a positive pregnancy test are eligible to receive a limited ultrasound. Our sonographers provide a limited ultrasound to help identify a viable pregnancy, and show the heartbeat to the mother in an effort to help her understand the human life growing inside her.
Peer Counseling
Every client who comes into one of our center locations receives free peer counseling by one of our trained volunteer counselors.
Referrals for Adoption
When a client wishes to place her baby for adoption, we provide the referral to Catholic Charities for her to contact and pursue the adoption placement.
Follow-up Care
After a client makes her initial visit to White Rose, we continue following up with her throughout her pregnancy. We help her apply for Medicaid, seek prenatal care, remind her about coming to get maternity clothes, and offer a special layette at the end of her pregnancy, all the while encouraging her.
Prenatal Care
Every client who receives a positive pregnancy test is immediately encouraged to seek prenatal care promptly. We provide referrals for prenatal care through our partners, which provides faster service for our clients than for non-partners.
Mentoring
We offer mentoring and support through our Magdalene Program. It is a community of support for our pregnant clients who need a friend to help them through the journey. Magdalene Program has meetings four times a month in English and Spanish and features guest speakers who educate our clients on various topics.
Comprehensive Support
We offer free pregnancy tests, peer counseling, limited sonograms, mentoring and support, a Well-Woman Clinic, and material and financial assistance. To my knowledge, no other agency provides such comprehensive care.
Material Assistance
As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of donors for our material assistance. We are in constant need of material items, as they are given out quickly to our clients, particularly the abortion-minded clients. Please consider this list when you consider making a donation.

Financial Assistance
St. Joseph’s Helpers believes in helping in ways that serve the immediate needs of those we serve. For an abortion-minded client, the need for financial assistance is imperative to support the safety and health of the mother and baby. We take active steps to ensure that financial assistance is 100% necessary – but it’s these situations where the impact is the greatest and most appreciated.
